A hospital Level 1 study is attended overnight by a technician and records many more channels, including brain waves, than a sleep-apnea question needs. That staffing and equipment is what drives the price. For most people with snoring and daytime sleepiness, a home Level 3 test reaches the same conclusion at a fraction of the cost.

What about ₹1,899–₹2,099 mail-order kits?
